The servicing of motor vehicles is now classified as an essential service and thus, we remain open to cater for all your servicing and aftercare needs. 

We have introduced strict and thorough hygiene and safety processes as part of our Volkswagen Safer Measures initiative earlier this year.

Sales

Temporarily, most of our new and used car sales activities will move to online methods. Our dedicated sales teams will be able to assist you over the phone, through e-mail or by video call if preferred regarding any new or used car sales enquiry. 

Our Joe Duffy Volkswagen locations will be offering a click-and-collect service for new and used vehicles should you wish to take delivery within the next six weeks. Self-Appraisal

If you are in the market of selling your car you can avail of our online valuation and part exchange service. Simply fill out the details of your vehicle from the comfort of your home. Include images of your car, mileage and an overall rating of the condition of the car and we will offer you a cash offer or part exchange.

For click and collect sales:

  • Hygiene measures are observed during handover and a distanced handover takes place
  • Cars are thoroughly sanitised and thorough hand washing is practiced by all staff

To facilitate distancing and reduce physical contact, remote processes are in place. Your retailer will explain the steps involved as you progress with your sale, which include:

  • Staff are trained on carrying out a touchless handover
  • Before and after a test drive, the car is thoroughly cleaned using sanitisation procedures
  • Online car configurator, digital brochures, digital product guides and indicative finance calculators are available online to provide information and pricing on car specifications
  • Our retailers can share video content and reviews of our model range
  • While you research your car, our retailers are present and available through remote contact: telephone, e-mail, contact forms and LiveChat in some cases.

We are open for service and maintenance work as usual, with the following safer measures in place:

  • Our retailers use video consultations, digital communication and telephone throughout the service process to facilitate ongoing communication remotely where possible
  • We clean and sanitise the interior and exterior of your vehicle before handing it back to you
  • Technicians practise thorough hygiene measures and workshop tools are disinfected between use
  • You can book a service online using our online service booking tool or over the phone
  • All staff practice hand hygiene measures and wear suitable clothing to prevent transfer of a the virus within the car
  • Vehicles are quarantined for half a day where possible
  • Some retailers use an advanced sanitising system that aerates a disinfectant throughout the car utilising the car's air vents. As well as killing 99.9% of bacteria, this deep-clean system has the added benefit of removing bad odours, pollens, and moulds
  • All vehicles are thoroughly cleaned inside and out before being worked on or being handed back over to consumers to ensure disinfection
